    This report will bring together international research, focus group insights, and survey data from all partner organisations to provide a better understanding of the state of social, cognitive, physical, and emotional wellbeing within the context of digital education in European higher education. It will explore current challenges, identify key needs, and review existing strategies that support both students and teaching staff in online and hybrid learning environments. The findings will inform targeted policy recommendations and highlight successful case studies where wellbeing-focused approaches are effectively integrated into digital teaching.

    Based on research and empirical findings, these policy recommendations will be specifically designed to support and promote wellbeing in digital teaching and learning within European higher education institutions. Targeted at decision-makers, teaching staff, and students, they will offer clear, evidence-based guidance for creating digital learning environments that actively foster social, cognitive, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Building on the comprehensive research report, the recommendations will help institutions adopt sustainable practices that benefit everyone involved in online and hybrid education.

  • Interactive Online Platform & Community of Practice

    This dynamic online platform will serve as a central hub for promoting social, cognitive, physical, and emotional wellbeing within the context of digital education. Designed for both teaching staff and students, it will feature carefully selected resources, practical methods, and proven strategies—such as micromovements in teaching, podcast walks, and needs-oriented pedagogy. Through an active community of practice, users will be able to share experiences, collaborate, and engage in discussions around wellbeing in digital teaching and learning. To support widespread adoption, the platform will include high-quality multimedia content that helps integrate wellbeing practices into everyday educational routines.
